Don’t be fooled by the creative marketers twho try to sell you their products like ice-cream, chocolate, bread and cookies that “supposedly” are low on carbs. They lie, they are full of carbohydrates. Don’t fall for it.
Ignore any product that is normally a high carb diet, but have a low-carb version.
If you are going to buy food because you are busy, it should be a healthy meal.
Also, you should not eat any food that has a list of ingredients. Or if it has, it should be very short and you MUST be able to recognize the ingredients so you don’t get deceived by weird chemical names.

Alcohol shuts down the fat burning process. There are other better options for losing weight like wine (Damn, I love wine), dry champagne and hard liquor like vodka, whiskey and cognac.
Don’t consume too much of it though. And I’m saying this because this is a health and weight loss blog and consuming too much alcohol can have negative effects on your health. Drink responsibly!
6. Get adequate amount of sleep
Lack of sleep can be bad for your weight. You should strive to get a healthy amount of sleep every night. As I write this right now, I’m really in need of sleep. I worked all day yesterday on my website and only had four hours sleep last night. I usually need at least 6.
Know your body and the amount of sleep you need for optimal performance and also weight loss.
Sleep deprivation can cause sugar cravings which is one of the things you must not do if you want to lose weight fast.
I know of someone who only sleeps for 4 hours or less every night. The thing is that he has been doing this for over 30 years now and his body is already used to it.
But can you do it? Can you sleep 4 hours or less every night and still be able to function as a normal human being?
I know I can’t!
When you sleep for less time than your body requires, you become very irritable and your thinking will be weird. (The man has these 2 qualities).
If you think you can, go for it. But I must warn you first, it requires a lot of discipline and you’ll put the people around you under extreme pressure because of your irritability.
I don’t recommend it!
7. Reduce your stress level
High levels of stress can increase your hunger hormone (cortisol) and make you eat more – adding to your weight.
Stress does not only cause you to add weight, it also has serious adverse effects on your health and you should look for a way to reduce the amount of stress in your life if you are already feeling overwhelmed and stressed out before it becomes a whole new issue.

You will need some minerals and vitamins for your body to work properly if you want to lose weight fast. If you don’t get enough vitamins and minerals your body reacts by increasing your level of hunger because it thinks if we eat more, we can get more of the nutrients we lack.
