We all know how difficult it can be sometimes for us to lose weight when we have gained a little during the festive seasons, or when you just let yourself go for a while.
I know I have been in this situation before, especially when I use to come home from school and put on some holiday weight.
But the good news is that I know how to lose weight fast and that is what I’m about to share with you today.

I normally do this in 3 days or less.
Remember, this remedy is not for completely slimming down if you’re obese, it is only for removing the extra weight you put on after you let yourself go.

Don’t let some of this method frighten you. It’s a little radical, but it helps.
Eat 4-6 hours before you sleep
The first thing I make sure I do is that I eat a light dinner at least 6 hours before going to bed.
This is not that difficult to do, but if you get hungry and feel like you need to put something in your mouth, make sure you don’t go for heavy meals or even normal meals; take a light drink, not a sugary drink or soda.

If I’m going to bed by 11pm; which is the usual time I normally go to bed; I make sure my last meal was by 7pm… and light.
This way I have 4 hours for the food to digest, and my body starts warning me for more food.
I do 4 hours before bed because my metabolism is fast because I play sports.
You can take green tea or water lemon without adding any sweetener.
I normally take lipton tea and green tea; whichever one was in the house at the time.
You could also take water melon or apples when you are hungry before going to bed.
Basically, you should take something with lots of water and…
when you wake up you will notice how lose your pants are, and you will feel lighter.
If you want to see real drastic changes to your body mass, do this for about 3 weeks and you will notice a big difference in your body.
Make sure you’re hungry when going to bed
Like I have mentioned above, make sure you go to bed hungry.
This is vital and when you do drink green tea or eat an apple or watermelon, don’t fill your stomach.
The tea and fruit are just so that your brain can register that you have something in your stomach, and can stop sending you hunger signals.
This means you will wake up hungry which is good.
Don’t go rushing to the kitchen to grab anything you see and throw it in your mouth. Even the food you eat during this process is very essential to the success of this routine.
If you continue eating the way you use to eat that made you put on that few extra weight, this exercise will not work for you.
You do this exercise and also, stop eating the way you were.
Begin eating normally and healthily.
I’m not suggesting you go on a hunger strike, this post is not for you to lose 30 pounds in 3 weeks, it is for you to drop that extra 5 or 2 pounds you put on in the past weeks or days.
So eat as you would normally eat but not as you ate before the weight. (I hope I said this in a way you would understand).
Drink water first when you wake up
When you wake up you would feel hungry; and if you drank tea the night before as suggested above because you were hungry, you would want to use the bathroom.
But don’t run to the kitchen to put anything into your mouth just yet.
Go to the kitchen and first take a glass of water before anything else. This will help cleanse your system.
You could also drink a cup of diluted juice it water makes you sick. (It felt terrible the first time I drank water first thing in the morning).
Drink water when you first wake up
Drinking water first thing in the morning might be a little strange to you at the beginning; especially if you have never done this before.
By the way, drinking water first thing in the morning should be a daily routine for you as it helps your health greatly by cleansing your system.
When I first began drinking water in the morning I did not like it; it felt weird. But days into it I began to tolerate it.
Now more than 3 years later, I cannot see myself eating any other thing in the morning if I don’t drink my full glass of water first.
Sometimes in the rush of things I forget, but just like it felt weird when I first started drinking water in the morning, it felt weird when I did not drink water in the morning.
I kept on drinking water in the morning those early days even if it was totally “uuggh” to me, because I knew what water can do for me and my overall health.
So, drink water first thing in the morning when you wake up and get a healthy breakfast to wake you up.
Those are the 3 things I do when I add a little extra weight during the holidays or when I just let myself go for a while.
